Timber Lodge is shaped by the landscape that surrounds it. Set within Territory 1889 near Flathead Lake, the home takes cues from Montana’s forests, mountains, and changing light to create an architecture that feels deeply connected to place.
Gabled forms and expansive rooflines give the home a familiar mountain character, while walls of glass, clean detailing, and a restrained palette of timber, stone, and steel bring a contemporary perspective. Inside, warm wood ceilings, sculptural stone, custom millwork, and layered textures create spaces that feel intimate against the scale of the landscape.
Throughout the home, views are intentionally framed and living spaces extend naturally outdoors. The result is a modern mountain retreat that feels grounded, warm, and enduring. Designed not simply to sit within the landscape, but to belong to it.
