Nestled amongst the pine ridges, overlooking Flathead Lake as though it’s been perched here on It’s ridgetop for a hundred years, sits this landmark mountain home. This savvy and discerning client immediately recognized the site as a top location for a home of this caliber and challenged our team to create a home that seemed to step into the lake far below from every room. Walls of glass would be the norm for this project and bringing the outdoors, indoors, was the goal from the start.
Incorporating steel windows and doors to bring a rich and inviting texture to the walls of glass and combining a palette of warm organic materials to surround them, the vision quickly evolved and began to show itself. From the early stage the design flowed nearly effortlessly into it’s final form, one that will both stand the test of time while always maintaining it’s timeless beauty.
